Middleton Rangers Under 14's League Champions 2007-08
Middleton Rangers Under 14's won their third cup in three seasons, winning their TJFA league as champions. This was Rangers' 3rd trophy in three years. The team visited their main home strip sponsors Middleton Hall Retirement Village at Middleton St George, to thank Managing Director Jeremy Walford for his backing. As part of the visit members of the team met up with some residents, namely Mr. Raymond Dovey age 88 and Mr. Edward Perry age 81. The players and residents exchanged memorable football stories. Mr. Dovey recalled his experiences of playing in the Southern India Cup whilst out on service during the second World War. The ties between the Middleton Hall Retirement home and the football club are strong, as the sons and daughters of many staff at the Hall play for a number of the Middleton Rangers JFC age groups.
